Joy Division- Love Will Tear Us Apart
My musical tastes as an adult is born out of three particular bands: The Clash, New Order and Joy Division. Whether it’s rock, punk, dance, hip-hop or whatever genre I’m listening to now, chances are that at least one of these three bands had some kind of influence.
It all circles back to these three.
It’s only just within the last year or so that I’ve really gotten to listen to Joy Division. Hell, I didn’t even realize that this past Tuesday May 18th was the 30th anniversary of Ian Curtis’ death when I heard about this. Definitely a pretty cool way to celebrate the band and Curtis’ life.
